Bookbag interview

Hot on the heels of the very amazingly nice review for LIMELIGHT LARRY from Bookbag...
there is an interview from me on their site HERE.
I do hope my answers aren't tooo silly (was a trifle sleepity when I answered them).

  2. Hello Ms. Leigh Hodgkinson,

How are you? I hope all is well!

I'm sorry to try to reach you this way. I know it's really informal but I try several times to email you but in vain. I don't know why but I do apologize for posting a long comment.

My name is Ting-Ting Yang. I’m a student from University of South Carolina in USA. My major is studio art and concentration on graphic design. In fact, I have been interested in illustration for quite a while and now I’m taking illustration this semester and our current assignment is to interview an illustrator that we like (FYI: my professor is Marius Valdes (I love his work as well!)- http://zoovaldes.com/). So I right away think about you, Ms. Hodgkinson! I have been a huge fan of you. I remember the first time I ever read your lovely picture book I fell in love with it! I have a little collection of your books but it’s somehow a little bit difficult to find in the United States, I usually order it from the UK. So far I own three books from you! I have the Smile!, Limelight Larry, and I just got Scrummy! last month and am still waiting Amazon to ship Colin and the Wrong Shadow! I really love your style! I love the family of Sunny McCloud! I also have younger twin brothers!

I understand you must be very busy and have no time for this kind of interview but could you please at least provide me with some information! I really appreciate that! Thank you so much! I usually check your blog every now and just by looking at those wonderful pictures already make me very happy :) Your work has become my inspiration! That’s why I hope I could really use this special opportunity to interview you and to know more and learn more about you and your fantastic work!
